Our Oakley location is a hidden treasure in the Wasatch Mountains. While the amenities of shopping, dining, skiing, museums and film offered in Park City are only 20 minutes away, we couple those conveniences with the beautiful ranch lifestyle of the country – something that our residents value and protect. Out here in the Kamas Valley, there are no multi-lane highways, no obtrusive light or air pollution, and no large outlet malls. Instead, we have a large network of hiking and riding trails, easy access to National Parks, and one of the country’s finest rodeos.

Oakley was first explored around 1850 and incorporated in 1933. Our high mountain valley enjoys 6500 feet in elevation with the beautiful Weber River flowing through town.

Here are some of the activities and events Maple Ridge Ranches residents enjoy, from sports to museums to film, visual arts, food and music.

Kimball Art Center – For Artists of All Ages

kimble-art-centerThe Kimball Art Center is a nonprofit organization, a hub of creative activity, and a wonderful resource for artists of all ages. Check out their new location at 1401 Kearns Boulevard in Park City. There are over 80 fall and winter classes covering painting, drawing, glass, metal work, ceramics, silver and photography – something for everyone, including kids, teens and adults.

Local, regional and nationally known artists instruct all courses. There are also exhibits in the Main and Café Galleries. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival in August each year is the Center’s largest fundraiser and includes a full weekend of activities, including a juried show of over 200 artists in many media – it’s a highlight of the summer! And try Uptown Fare for lunch, for homemade soups and sandwiches (they roast the turkey every morning!).
